The Association of Developers of Uzbekistan announces the adoption of a comprehensive Quality Standards Framework by its member organizations. This framework establishes clear benchmarks and best practices across all aspects of construction project delivery, from design and planning through execution and handover.
The framework was developed through extensive consultation with member companies, international standards organizations, and quality management experts. It incorporates best practices from leading construction markets while accounting for local conditions and requirements in Uzbekistan.
Key components of the Quality Standards Framework include:
- Design quality requirements and review processes
- Materials specification and procurement standards
- Construction execution quality checkpoints
- Testing and inspection protocols
- Documentation and record-keeping requirements
- Defect management and resolution procedures
- Customer satisfaction measurement and feedback systems
Member organizations commit to implementing these standards across all projects beginning January 1, 2026. The association will provide training, tools, and support to help members successfully adopt and maintain these elevated standards.
"Quality is the foundation of our industry's reputation and our members' success," stated the AZUZ leadership. "This framework provides a clear roadmap for consistently delivering excellence in every project."
The association will conduct regular audits to verify compliance and will recognize exemplary performance through its annual Quality Excellence Awards program.
